They shouldn't tell the police but it may be noted some where on a system and other employers may avoid employing you. If you are caught with drugs and consume them before the cops get them they are powerless and cant arrest you, many drug dealers do this is the police pull up on them, so nothing should happen even if they do tell the cops because you have already taken it.
