Peace be upon all of you guys here, and thank you all for an excellent discussion and interesting information....

Anyway, I worked up a good milk-tea concoction yesterday. After reading so many different recipes for this -- and seeing all the people disagreeing about its effectiveness - I did my own instead....

One and 1/2 pints (24oz) Half-and-half
One and 1/2 tablespoon Land-o-Lakes Butter & Olive Oil Spread
One bag Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Herbal Tea
Honey
One g (or more) well-ground pot (any kind - I used mids)

(a) Put 16oz Half-and-half and Butter spread into 1-quart saucepan.
(b) Heat with medium heat, stirring often, until begins to bubble slightly.
(c) Add pot while stirring
(d) Right before boiling starts, reduce heat to LOW setting (do NOT let boil over!!)
(e) Stir well. Cover.
(f) Stir every 2-3 minutes for the first half-hour. There will be a shiny film on the surface that gets darker as you cook mixture. This layer is the lipid-soluble cannabinoids that have reacted to the fat and been released and activeted in the half-and-half and butter & oil. It will stick to your stir spoon. DO NOT rinse off!!
(g) After 30 minutes or so stir every 5 minutes. Do not rinse the spoon!
(h) Continue low simmer with 5-min stir intervals for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
(i) Five minutes before end of cook time, heat 8oz half-and-half in separate pot. Add teabag when near boil. Cover & let steep at least 5 minutes.
(j) Remove cannabis mixture from heat. Let stand 10 minutes, covered.
(k) Pour steeped tea into main mixture. Stir very well.
(l) Add honey to taste. Stir.
(m) Pour into cup (do not filter!) Will be 16 oz (8 oz evap'd over 3 hours cooktime)
(n) Keep spoon in cup; scrape off what is on spoon into your cup; always stir well before each sip!!

RESULTS OF SELF-EXPERIMENT:

Drank mix over 20-minute period starting 4:00PM. Finished @ 4:20PM (!) Felt nothing until 4:50 PM. Feeling of peace and relaxation came over me. Minute by minutes effect slowly kicked in. By 5:20PM effect so strong I had to lay down for a minute. Effect continued to get stronger and stronger -- completely a mental-mind-psychedelic experience -- not any kind of body high -- just a slight warm-tingling, that was all. At 7PM, I was still getting higher and higher. Began a meditation - wall in front of me turned into a field of energy when I looked at it - room was lit up in an ethereal glow. 8:40PM -- still extremely high -- and getting higher. Tried to think about sex and sexual attraction in this world. Got nowhere - felt dumb to think about at that moment.

9:30 PM - decided to take a nap b/c was tired already from lack of sleep nite before - effect is still extremely powerful - seems to be leveling out a bit, finally.

10:10PM - cannot fall asleep - mind is wide open with psychedelic visions, looking at faces and color behind my closed eyes - could have sworn I had taken 5-10 mics LSD the way I felt....

1:42AM - Woke up. No less high than I was when I fell asleep.

4:05AM - Woke up again. Still buzzed - coming down slowly...

6:36AM - Woke up to feed cats & take shower - slight buzz still there - very burnt out feeling...

10:40AM (right now) I feel tired & a bit burnt out. But do not regret this at all. Feel quite happy & relaxed even though burnt out.

Well, I guess that about sums things up. Definitely worth doing!! I'd say my tolerance is about medium right now - and this concoction worked wonders still!! It tastes excellent!

Let me know how it works for you!

Peace, Matt
