Wilting leaves 37 days into flowering
Hello -- first post in these forums!
I've got 4 plants (Trainwreck, supposedly), which have begun to put out some pretty nice buds...The only problem is, the leaves on my best plant have started to turn yellow / curl and completely dry out (in other words, they are dying).
I'm watering them about a solo cup each / day of distilled water, backed off the nutrients to see if I was overdoing them. They're getting 12/12 under a 1000 watt HPS lamp.
Anyone know what's going on? I can only take pics with my iPhone currently so let me know if pics are required and I'll do my best.
Thanks
edit: thru in some pics of just one leaf showing the wilting I'm talking aboutDankNougat Reviewed by DankNougat on . Wilting leaves 37 days into flowering Hello -- first post in these forums! first off, the fan leaves always turn crappy, during flowering, perfectly normal, while the plant draws stored nutrients from them ... however, that usually shows as yellowed leaves, you seem to have a different thing going on there ... possibly, calcium/magnesium deficiency, and/or acidic soil ... how long have you been using distilled water ? ... distilled is not good, has none of the trace elements the plants need ... I would resume 1/2 strength flowering nutes, once per week ... also, don't water daily ... thoroughly drench your plants, then let them dry, before watering again ... make sure they are draining well, poke a pencil up thru the drain holes, (in case the soil compacted, and restricted the draining) ... plants uptake nutes when dry, cannabis needs to go thru 'wet & dry cycles' ... keep us updated to your results ... happy gardening !

So, instead of distilled water, what if I use de-chlorinated tap water? I'm in Boulder, CO so the tap water is ridiculously clean (melted snow). By thoroughly drench, do you mean water them until they are draining out the bottom?
This is my first time...I've been pretty impressed with the results I've gotten thus far, and don't want to mess it up a couple weeks before harvest.
Thanks!

yup, you got it ... just sit some tapwater out overnite, and when you water, make sure it gets a soaking, and runs out like it's draining well ... drainage is very important ... then, let it dry, almost to the point of drooping, and water again ... that's what they like ...
