18/6 is good. but i would put it up to 24 hours in a few weeks after the roots develope. for fastest plant growth during veg the lights should be on for 24 hours. although dark time is essental for good root growth. after you think the roots are well developed i would increase the light

I could use some advice is this indica or sativa if you can tell. and I could use some lighting and nutrient tips for plants this size, I am on a budget so cfls and the local hardware store advice would be of most help. I use low and high spectum cfls in combination total lumens is well over 12,000 i would say. soil is spagnum peat moss, pro mix, perilite, worm castings, epsom salt, blood meal, lime, sand and love. plus some walnut essence. they are on a 18/6 cycle. ph is at 7 and NPK is good Rating: 5
