"Salvia" (Salvia divinorum is the species you are refering to) is related to many common household varieties of cooking sages and mints. Salvia is the sage genus in the Lamiaceae family. It is related to mint, lemon grass, shit like that. It has square stems and opposite leaves, very characteristic of the family (MJ has the same characteristics, but the floral characteristics vary a lot). Salvinorin fucks you up.
