So?
So I learned this the hard way.

Is there a cheap solution at Home Depot or can I mix something up without needing to go to the hydro store to get something special?

I just changed the water recently, can I just add in a little bit or bring the ppm's up using cal-mag at this point or am I better off changing the water? My only complaint is that every time I change the water I have to jostle the plants around and cause chaos so I'd like to avoid that again this week if possible.
No problem, just add some CalMag to the res.

Hmmm, I think Epsome salts are Magnesium Sulphate.

Calcium Nitrate, CaNO3 or Phosphate CaPHO3 will supply Calcium. It take very little.

The preceeding is just speculation. I have no real experience with anything other than CalMag.

Best to ask some one who actually knows what alternatives work, yah?

Aloha.
