    Hanging Entire Plant

After trimming off fan leaves and cleaning up the buds,, Is there any advantage to hanging by branch as opposed simply hanging the entire plant?

Hanging by branch seems to dry a bit faster, moisture is retained for awhile in the large stems. (Not necessarily a bad thing...)

Breaking the plant down to branches makes a more detailed trim a little easier. Lets you hang them spaced out perfectly and in the best position in your airflow, if you have proper air circulation your drying area.

Lately I've hung it by branch for a few days, then into a paper grocery bag to even moisture out a little more slowly. Then into Mason jars for twice-daily burping. The trick is getting enough moisture out of it that it doesn't get moldy, but doing it evenly enough not to make the bud crispy and the smoke harsh. :twocents:
