    Botanicare fert question

I bought the Botanicare fert pack for soil. I am 1 week into flowering stage so I am using the "Pro Bloom" but my question is can I also mix in the "Liquid Karma" at the same time?

On their feeding chart its show Liquid Karma as optional so I do not know if I use one over the other or can mix them together at the same time. Any insight is appreciated.

    Botanicare fert question

If the two are in the same row(horizontal) during any week on the schedule, it means that they can both be added at the listed amount during that time. But I believe after a week or so it will say to NOT add the LK.

    Hope that helps.

On their chart its show both same row "horizontal" each week through flower stage. I will just do it once and leave the karma out. I over fed with miracle grow about 6 weeks ago and do not want to do that again.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Botanicare fert question

I use the same two veg & bloom, w/o liquid Karma.

You might want to continue with the veg for two or three weeks into flower unless you have short maturing genetics. The Nitrogen gets used up too quick if you are already using bloom formula in week one.

Did you flush the Miracle Grow???? Very important to flush it out.

Thanks for the input and good questions about did I flush the miracle grow. When you guys talk about "flush" is that putting a certain amount of water over and over into the pots in one day? (OR) is it just stop using that fert and just use water (normal amount of water) for a certain period of time before you use fert again?

If its put a lot of water over and over in one day I did not do that.
Other issue is I am using Miracle Grow "organic" (2 month auto feeding) soil and I re-potted them to bigger pots about 4 weeks ago.

    Botanicare fert question

flushing is pouring a few servings of water at one time to cleanse the salts out of the soil that build up from synthetic ferts.

If you are using MG soil then be real careful with the additional nutes, probably mix them 1/2 strength or less. You can always up the dose of nutes to react to issues easier than you can flush out over done feedings.

Thanks for the tips. With the MG soil I have been going 1/4 strength on the "bloom" fert. Just coming coming up on 2 weeks into flowering.

Other question for you...I read up on how to get rid of my bugs (nats), I just hit/sprayed the soil and leaves with Neem oil but I went 50% strength. Is is OK to go 100% strength with Neem oil at this point in time (2 weeks flowering)??

I don't worry about gnats, but I think its best to dilute like you did and do multiple sprays. From what I have read neem is very safe. I top dress with worm castings so gnats are constant.

Gnats are easily nuked with a concentrate of Hydrogen Peroxide too. Just add it to your water when you do your flush...which you definitely need to do with the MG line.
