    1st Grow Status/Questions

    Hey all knowledgables,

So we had some bagseed lying around and decided to throw it in the dirt to see what happened. Havent paid too much attention to the "details" like soil type, fertilizer, etc (but i've started a couple new ones that i'm treating RIGHT!).

It's been planted now for about 5-6 weeks or so. Heh, during 5 minutes of benign neglect a cat was inadvertently allowed to chomp the entire plant about 2 weeks in. So it was topped then.

It's being grown outdoor, in the tropics where it has recieve 12/12 light since sprouting.

I have some pics here. My questions are:

    1. I'm not sure when it's going to bud, but i've spotted some suspicious-looking growths that could be calyx's? The third pic shows that. Any thoughts?

    2. The leaves are long and thin. Since this was bagseed from outdoor-grown tropical bud, i'm assuming thats a natural characteristic of this strain. Or is it from malnurishment? That's the second pic.

    Thanks all!

In the tropics you lucky dog, wish I was there. I believe your plant that looks sativa with the thin leaves should flower after a few months and will probably get tall, I will guess 4 to 6 feet. You should use search under "south america" in the main titles and you will find TONS of info.

Those aren't calyx's they are new branches. You got a way's too go don't give up it will be worth it. Just give them bread and water they will do the rest on their own, don't baby them.
