If you aren't prepared to commit to decent extraction it really isn't worth spending money on HPS. It really is essential.

One question - what sort of construction is the shed?

The shed is plastic, that im going to have to insulate some way and im intending to put mylar on the sides

Yep, it has some good shape for most of the day. Im going to use ferny pads on the inside of the walls to insulate it, im putting white foam core on the ceiling and walls and the mylar on the floor.
