My Loss of Faith
I'm bumping this because I'm still waiting on a response from "smileyface" about my question. What simple concept or fact are you talking about??? Please explain.

Shit. I can't believe I missed out on this thread.
chris, we all get what you are saying about before the universe. We don't know what happened before the universe. However, instead of jumping to conclusions (read: God), consider the following..
We are a product of the space-time continuum. Our logic is based upon the space-time continuum. We therefore do not understand things outside of this continuum.
You immediately answer that it then "must" be God who created everything.
Have you considered the notion of infinity? That there is no start or end? That there is only start and end for us because were are finite beings? Have you considered the different possible continuums that came before space-time?
No, you just have "faith".

You have "faith" to believe that rubbage. There is such a thing as infinite. And it is God.

Ah I see, progression in science that disproves your theory of God is "rubbage". Of course.

Yes it does, you can't enter through a door that doesn't exist.
