My Loss of Faith

God doesn't necassarly let this happen. He gave people the freedom of choice and reason. People over time have just let the world get like this. and it's obviously not Gods fault but OUR own, you dumbass!

Then why does he answer any prayer ? But not that of an innocent little starving child who wants hope. Do they have the choice to starve or is it our choice as Christians to let them starve ? Where are the chirstians when you need something to eat ? Lions need to eat also !

My problem with christians is how do you steal the god of Abraham from the Hebrew Jews ? The god that punishes his people to cleanse them and build character and show them tuff love. To show them life is not easy. To bind them to his will and mould them to his liking. To wander a desert for 40 years waiting for all that sinned to die off and become a pure people to whorship the way he intended. To not let the man who delivered his people from bondage cross over the Jordan into the promised land because he questioned GOD just once.

Remember in the beginning for 100 years you could not be a Christian unless you were a Hebrew Jew. Bottom line. When no more Jews were converting they started to die out. Then some of them figured they must let in any old trash to keep it going. And bring in money.

Yes and how do you turn a tuff love God into an everyones prayers are answered ?

Now I can't stomach the thought of it all. Look in the eyes of a starving, dying child. Is there God? The child prays every night for nothing more than simple food. Does God answer? If God can't answer the most simple prayer of a dying child, why would he give a fuck about anything I pray about? If God can't protect the weakest of us all, how could we say any of us are cared for by a loving god? I've fallen Rating: 5

So when he created us with self will, he knew we'd turn our backs on the starving children. In essence, he created the entire situation with full knowledge. That is the definition of letting it happen.

Western religions are especially psychotic in their contradictions, but that is always explained by "we can't understand why". No doubt. If you can't understand why, maybe it's because it makes no sense. Believing in things that make no sense requires a blindness of the mind. JMHO

What created everything than smart guy? What created the atoms and dust??? YOU DON'T KNOW!!!!! Which only explains that their HAS to be somthing bigger than us out there! If I seem defensive, maybe it's because you're attacking me for offering my opinion which differs from yours.

My opinion is that I do not know how the universe and all that is in it came to be, but I don't believe your god made it happen. I have no idea what awaits us after death (if anything), but I don't believe in the mythical afterlife portrayed by your religion.

See, just because we can't explain something doesn't mean it proves a magical explanation. I could use your very same logic to say, "since everything has to have been created, it proves that Odin created everything."

Now explain why Yahweh is more believable than Odin.

Oh, and I wasn't aware that I gave the impression I thought I knew everything. I don't. Now I have a question for you my friend. Have you ever actually read the entire book you claim you run your life by? The whole thing, mind you, not just the parts your pastor told you to read.
