    First Grow

Hey you guys, this is my first grow, I'm going for one indica clone
What i've got so far is a
    5 gallon drip system
    My hydroponic clay pebbles
A general hydroponic pH control kit
6 watt eco plus air pump
    Digital thermometer with humidity reader
    Botanicare Cal-mag Plus 2-0-0
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow 3-2-4
I still need to get my timer, the mylar to put on the walls in the tool shed im growing in, an air stone, my lights and my rockwool.

Here's where you guys come in, I am unsure of the proper usage of the Botanicare products. Also it's been recommended to me to get a 125 watt MH sun system light as well as a second HP light for the later part of my growing. Does this sound like a good way to go? If not please feel free to offer up other suggestions of lights that may better suite my grow situation, keep in mind i have a budget on this project and am only growing a single plant.

Sounds good and you have done some homework. I like that.

If your buget allows. Get the biggest ballast you can and a switchable ballast. Then you can get the biggest HPS bulb you can. Then a MH bulb to go with it.

This is how I set up my bro. He has a 600 watt ballast switchable. He runs a 400 hortilux HPS for flower and a 250 MH I got from slowe's for 25 bucks for veg time. He just switches when it comes to flower time.

One plant is like I told my bro, putting all your eggs in one basket but he has done pretty good like that from clones.

The point of having a large ballast is you can run smaller bulbs in a big ballast but not the other way around. Big bulb in small ballast blows up I have done it and I'm an electriction. Then down the road you can always go bigger once you see how it goes for you. Just get a bigger bulb.

Search around there are some good deals on the net. If you can't find a good one tell us your budget and we will help find something for you.

So the 250 W. Sunburst System that's switchable sounds like the perfect light system for my set up, the link to it is below and it's 250$, more than i have to spend on lighting. I guess my budget it 200 dollars but i would like to spend less than that, what im asking may be unreasonable, if so let me know, if not i hope to hear from you all soon with some good suggestions.

Try this it's a wing reflector like we use. 250 switchable and you can get both bulbs for under 200. Look down the page and you will find the 250. You can always get a reflector with cooling vent holes later.

Thanks for the link man, that looks great. What bulb does the light come with a MH or HPS?
