Growing for a friend.
Yes, you can grow for her legally if she obtains a mmj card and makes you a caregiver. If you grow for her you then sell the product back to her. However with one patient you can only have 12 plants, and a maximum of 2.5 ounces of useable weed per patient. Now what you do with the rest of the product is up to you. So legally you can make a little money, but it will probably just cover your costs of growing(nutrients, electricity, etc..). Illegally there is money to be made but you have to be careful
joehank7 Reviewed by joehank7 on . Growing for a friend. Hey forum, I'm new here and have some questions! My father like many of you out there has recently lost his job. We are facing possible bankruptcy and are becoming desperate for income. A family friend has chronic back pain and qualifies for medical marijuana in Rhode Island but has no one to grow for her. She has asked us if we could grow for her. Is this legal. What are the circumstances, and how could we legally make money off a grow. We have sufficient room in our house to have quite a few Rating: 5
