Hello everyone.! Well I have this plant, she is getting better treatment than before... I need to know if she is a she for sure.. These balls have came out looking like a male but they open up into leaves with white hairs.. really confused.. any ideas????

Hello WhiteIce,

At first look I immediately thought "nanners" or male pollen sacks, but if those "hairs" or pistals are sticking out before it opens then you have female pre-flowers there. Plus the plant seems too young to have produced any male pollen at this stage.

But keep in mind I'm old and have poor eyesight.......

What strain is this and how old is it now?

WhiteIce, those look like "balls" to me.

I can't see any of the hairs you mention, but I think chronic masturbation during my formative years may be the cause of that issue.

My question is: what lighting schedule do you have that plant on? Is it in 12/12, or did those things pop up spontaneously?

well to find out its a female.. but yea they did pop out and the plant is still on 18/6 my is that normal for a preflower?

She looks a wee bit young for pre-flowers, she doesnt even look mature yet, but hell anything is possible and pre-flowers are pretty common, sometime strain dependent.

No she has been under 18/6 same with the others... no light leaks at night.... I think she is just trying to grow... I know its a female cause of the white hairs... lots of them now. But for the picture... I wish I could take more picutres but dealing with a lg env3 phone is not going to get a good picture. :jointsmile:

Well, remain calm. You have a little time here. Just keep an eye on those things. (Yellow dust--not so good...)

I have seen things like that, that grew out into leaves. Keep us posted. :thumbsup:

Hey thanks! I will.. I moved her/him out today and just put her up on the bar I have in my room by a window :| . I do have three in veg state right now in the box that she was in.. I might post some pictures. Can you tell me if they look alright for 2 weeks.???
