I read an article about plant photosynthesis, etc., that stated, to light stress a cannabis plant, requires the 'entire plant' to be exposed to the light source, not just a branch or two ... I have absolutely NO idea, if that is true or not, BUT, a few gardens ago, just for the hell of it, I purposely left the cabinet door open a couple inches, every night period ... the plants only received a bit of stray light on a couple stems, and a VERY faint glow in the cabinet ... nothing negative happened, I remained hermie-free, etc. ... :wtf: ... possibly just good luck, as an experiment with only 2 plants means nothing, really ... in answer to questions, the plant is 'blind' to green light, whether from an incandescent, or a LED, CFL, etc., as the story goes ... regardless, I wouldn't overdo it, I prefer my plants to have their 6 hours of darkness ... the MagLite 'kit' usually contains a belt holster, and 2-3 colored lenses ... :smokin:
