Strains without anxeity

Can someone recommend a good strain that doesn't cause any paranoia/anxiety? The stuff I have now causes about 2-5 minutes of pretty bad anxiety when I first smoke it.

After that it's great, but I'm guessing there are some kinds that don't have that effect.

No idea what you have but try an indica dominate. The early anxiety may be just you.

Yeah, I guess that first post was a little vague! I'm used to getting whatever I can from my buddy, and I'm just now going to meet with a physician about getting a recommendation. Last time I got two different kinds from him; one that was total creeper that gave me the really short anxiety attacks I mentioned above. The other was way better (tasted better, kicked in faster), and had no anxiety at all.

This lead me to think that some strains might be known to cause this panicky feeling. I'm sure I could be wrong, but I figured this would be the place to ask!

Some genotypes do that to some people. It is your bodies reaction, not someone elses. Not all bodies react the same way to various genotypes.

From my research try to find something that is an indica dominate genotype.

Bubba Kush and Chemdawg are both excellent in this regard. I got my seeds from Dr.Greenthumb

Indicas relax and put you to sleep if alot is smoked. Light amounts of strong indica's are will not cause you anxiety. Most sativa's in my experience will make your heart race and pace around.
