Caught...

So last summer I was recently charged with my first marijuana charge, my first trip to jail and my first car impound.
It all starts out when I am leaving a friends house and i have some herb on me. Earlier that night i was with a couple of friends and we decided to buy a dub. We get it, roll a blunt, smoke my car out in a pretty safe spot and i go drop off friend #1. I had pitched in $5 for this sack, friend 1 got half and friend 2 got the other nickel. Anyways, my car wreaked, as i was leaving to go home, i rolled the windows down and tried to air out some. I turn left on College St. and, like a dumbass, go down the main st. in this small town at 12:30 at night. I see cops up ahead and there's nothing i can do but face them. One pulls out infront of me and the other gets behind me. the one in front slows down as much as possible then turns down a st. w/o using his blinker. the one behind me waits until i get in a school zone, which it isn't even a school anymore, school isn't taught there and the building is used for Alternative Education. So he pulls me over and says my license plate light is hanging down. shit.
He smells it obviously and asks me to step out.
then he goes and asks if i have anything on me, i say no, he says can i search, i say no
then he gives me some "probable cause" bullshit excuse and then there's nothing i can do, the cop won that night...
i informed the pig that he was indeed hassling me, and he tries to correct me saying that he is only doing his job.


Now i understand the part about doing his job, but that dickbag has costed me quite a bit of money. Well shit happens.

I hate to say it, but if you hadn't smoked out your car it wouldn't have happened. It's not a coincidence that the vast majority of people get busted in a public place, not in their home.

As much as I wish that we could enjoy our smoke in public without being persecuted, it's sadly not yet the case. Exercise a bit of caution next time and wait till you get home before skinning up. At any rate, smoking and driving isn't really a good idea.

thanks for the input, and yes i am aware that if i hadn't smoked out my car i wouldn't have paid 625 for bail and my car being impounded.

What County were you in? And...........you told the cop " he was hasseling" you? Your a brave guy.....its always a yes sir....I have my insurance right here...please dont shoot me kinda deal with me.

Ha yeah, i guess i grew some balls when i realized i was fucked.
but i'm was in Hopkins County, in East tx.
And when i went to jail, i found out the next morning 2 bros, 18 and 21 were in there for 4lbs. They were from Mich. and were coming back with the good when they got busted in good ol' Hopkins tx. They would have made 6000 after spending 1900 but lost it all on that trip...i was just thankful i wasn't in their position

Well i went to court last thursday and found out that i have to pay 938 along with a crimestoppers fee of 25, 60/month for probation and 24 hrs of community service. And if it wasn't bad enough, they issue that i have to take a fucking drug class. shit.
I plan on selling herb and paying it all w/ that money...:rastasmoke::thumbsup:

Haha nice. Well just be careful man. I use to hot box it with my friends and it was fun not gonna lie. But it is very dangerous, after a few close calls i never smoke and drive anymore. That is pretty fucked up what they are making you do though. I mean where the hell do they come up with 938 bucks as what you owe?

60 months probation = 5 yrs. OUCH, that's a long time to be on paper, one slip up or set up and your a cooked goose. The revolving door strikes again.

$60 a month for probation, i'm only on for 6 months, i think i can outlast the system for 6 months, i have now for 4 years pretty much so i will have a chance. and 938 includes the court costs + the fine for smoking dope in a school drug free zone @ 12:30 at night, i mean why isn't the whole state drug free? wait it basically is, illegal drugs, or at least what they catagorize as illegal drugs. but last time i checked cannabis was a plant, not a drug.
