I'm not so sure about brownies, but it works real good with whole grain muffins. Be careful with the soy (in terms of taste) a little goes a long way!

The South Beach Diet restricts grains to whole grains, no enriched flour or that kind of stuff. All breads are restricted. Seems I have a gluten intolerance also. Is it possible to make decent brownies using whole grain flours? Soy flour? I think I am allowed to use bakers unsweetened chocolate and plenty of splenda. I am bored with butter on whole grain toast, but damn it sure works good on nerve pain. Rating: 5
