    NOOB ALERT: Seedlings

ive been present for pot growing but this will be the first time ive ever done it from scratch myself. Anyway, we got an incubator and a 250W LE bulb, germinated some seeds and they've started sprouting. i followed the instructions in this video we have ("mr green") and had the light hanging 12 inches above the seedlings after they sprouted. they are looking a little browish though. Is this normal, or are they dying? we thought maybe the light was too close and was burning them, so we moved it up to more like 2 feet away.

We're planning on using a hydroponic system, and we currently have them sitting in these little cubes, and are keeping them nice and moist. We've been maintaining a constant temperature of about 28 degrees celcius. The seedlings are green with some brown splotches. They are currently still standing strong but i worry due to the brown splotches that they may go down soon.

    btw 28 degrees celcius = 82F

Also, I forgot to mention we are keeping the light on 24/7 at this point. Is this correct?

most growers prefer the 18/6 cycle  ... what is that 'LE' lamp ?, that's not an incandescent, is it ? ... if so, that's your problem, you're cooking them ... :smokin:

    ...huh? :wtf:

As for the original question, Reaper asked a good question: What exactly is an LE lamp? Aside from that, you might want to check and make sure you've taken all the necessary precautions for starting seedlings in rockwool. I've never used the stuff, but I know there are steps you want to take to prep the cubes before using for clones... and I'd imagine for seedlings too.

eehhhh doesnt matter he's still an idiot. People voted for Obama in a landslide because it was refreshing to have a candidate who was actually qualified for the fucking job, not just because they "didn't want to appear racist". I've never heard anything so stupid. Not to mention, being a pothead and voting republican is like shooting yourself in the foot, you have to be an idiot to do it.
