I like the alcohol to simply be a medium in which to carry the thc. A solution/solute type of thing. Others want to get drunk on the liquor and get stoned at the same time. Just sort of personal preference, but if you have the ingredients to make a batch at this strength I think you would be a very happy camper.

I like to let things soak for at least 30 days, but you can get positive results in less time than that, and if you were making this much at once take a little sample after a couple of weeks, then another after 3 weeks etc. Just leave the weed in the bottle and let it keep soaking. If you want more of an alcohol buzz add alcohol to what you extract from your mixture. At this ratio a teaspoon or less should do a very good job. Raise or lower the dosage as you see fit by 1/2 teaspoon increments. But it will probably get stronger the longer it soaks.

Also be advised that your tolerance will build very quickly, so it is best to use once per week or less if you are going for the big buzz. After it has soaked for 6-8 weeks, pour the liquid through a coffee filter into another container. I would put the wet weed back into the original container (mason jars work well, because of the wide mouth) and then resoak it with 1/2 liter of Tequila, this batch won't be as strong, but you'll get something out of it. Soak 6 more weeks strain through another coffee filter, then use the coffee filter and the weed as a giant tea bag and rinse it with hot coffee or tea to try and wash out any remaining magic. Enjoy

Last, this is best on an empty stomach and can take anywhere from 20minutes to 2hrs to feel the effects, a common error is to get impatient and up the dosage only to get whacked from over consumption. I suggest waiting a least an hour after drinking it to smoke, just so you get an idea of what the stone feels like.
