go to walmart and buy a vacation timer. they are only around 5 or 6 bucks and they ensure a steady light schedule for your plants. why worry about turning it on and off. i am a stoner and could not remember that shit anywyas. buy a timer man. you'll thank yourself later. you cant be leaving the light on like that when you are flowering them. light in the time period when its supposed to be dark is bad for them. it sorta shocks or stuns them. turning the lights back does not have to be done in any particular way. just turn it back. you'll be ok

Yeah; you can go 24/0 or 18/6 the only difference is; 18/6 they will show preflowers earlier than 12/12; if they even show preflowers on 12/12. Most strains will not show sex on 24/0. You can put them on 12/12 any time you want but the smaller they are the less your yield will be. I wait till they have alternating nodes. What's alternating nodes you say? It's when your nodes are opposite one another; instead of straight across from one another. When you see this your plant is mature and ready to flower. This strain i have now showed alternating nodes at 8'' and i put them on 12/12 and they have doubled in size in 18 days 12/12. Just remember; they will double or even triple in size when you hit 12/12.

double or triple in size!?!?! no shit. damn. this could cause some problems for my shit. ah well. i guess we'll see soon enough. i'll let you all know if my plants start to push up against the roof. i cant believe that they would double on 12/12 tho. its way less light. just doesnt add up in my primitive cerebrum....

Hey

The 24/7 thing for the plant is bad. You see, the plant need some rest like us, so once in a while you need a dark period to give the poor this a break.
