help overwatering????
I see where he read that. Growell.co has a PDF that's a real official-looking instruction sheet. It's still wrong, and it's not from the maker of your soil product, either. Some goof in their sales department probably put that together.Oh right so they guy at the hydro shop was tlaking runnish then?
Don't trust that thing. They work better as rectal thermometers than pH or moisture meters.i have a cheap ph reader the one you stick 2 rods down into the ground
Really, I would be hesitant to change anything suddenly or drastically at this point. Whatever you're doing is clearly working for you, so far...
pH 8.0 is awfully high, if it really is 8.0... (kinda doubt it)
EDIT. Irydium, please type slower. I can't keep up with you. Besides, my keyboard melted at 4:28...:stoned:DreadedHermie Reviewed by DreadedHermie on . help overwatering???? Sorry Hermie, i'm pretty much dry right now since I moved recently and haven't had the time to set up yet. Thus my fingers can type much quicker and more accurately than usual.
You must spread more rep blah blah blah...
I will be stoned one day again, then I will slow to my normal pace

There is one more test.I stuck the reader in the soil it said 8,
Take it to the shop where you got that silly advice about "don't fret over pH" and stick it up....*censored*
See if your salesman is pH 8.0.
Tell him Hermie sent ya. (Ask for the discount!)
As for meters, you can get a Milwaukee 600 on ebay for ~$20 US. Not the best pen by a long shot, but for $20 a handy tool.
There are some "aquarium testers" for about the same price that work well. I will see if they're still around. If you can find the distributor from China they're probably only $10 or so. (paid $20 on the 'bay for mine.) HTH, HermieNeed advice wth plant problems?
