Need a little help from my friends - Data Sheet Included!

    Hey guys,
I'm having a little issue with my plants and heed help troubleshooting as the data seems to be contradicting to me. Taking a stab on my own, I know for sure I burnt these plants as in the pictures you can see the tips are a bit brown and crispy =( Anytime I replenish the res, the meter usually reads 1000/1100PPM.

One of the Indicas that I have ( Lois ) seems to have a deficiency, my guess Magnesium by way of nutrient lockout, but the data below may suggest otherwise at the run off test came back within what I believe reasonable limits. Could also be too much calcium?. My other two plants Leela ( Sativa ) and Marge ( Indica ) look pretty good except for the nutrient burn, but also seem to be developing some of the characteristics of Lois so I'm a bit worried.

It should also be noted that Lois is in a tray all on her own and Leela and Marge share an Autopot tray.

    E - indoor or outdoor - indoor

E - soil, soilless, coco, aero, or hydroponic - coco ( Is coco considered soil or soilless? )

E - specific medium - Was a compressed brick ( let me know if I need to be more specific )

    CSL - Soil type/brand - Ultrapeat coco-coir brick

    HCL - Hydro/aero/soilless system type - Autopot

SCL - Anything you have added to the soil - Added a gallon of warm water with 1 gallon of nutes and Aerolite coarse horticultural perlite

SCLR - Soil or slab runoff pH - 3 plants total:

    LOIS:
    Runoff PH: 6.2
    Runoff PPM: 600/700
-The water smelled and was really brown
    -Didn't flush ( hehe )

    LEELA:
    Runoff PH: 5.4
    Runoff PPM: 1300/1400
-No smell in water and water was pretty clear
    -Flushed her down to:
    PH: 6.1
    PPM: 100

    Marge:
    Runoff PH: 5.2
    Runoff PPM: 1600/1800
-No smell in water and water was pretty clear
    -Flushed her down to:
    PH: 6.2
    PPM: 100

E - Water source - Well water 100 PPM Calcium @ 11 grains ( Considered hard from what I understand ) Not sure how often this changes in well water, but I'll start recording that too.

    E - Source water pH - 6.2

HRT - Source water EC (if hydro) - Reservoir 10 G. PH at intervention was 5.1 and PPM was 1000/1100

E - Age of plant - Unknown, received as a clone

E - Type of fertilizer - Xtra-Edgeā?¢ Hydroponic Nutrient System ( May be a problem as it's around 4 years old... trying to use up old stuff 'cause I don't
know a good way to dispose of fertilizer )

E - Rate of application (if hydro, this is your PPM number, preferably after each component is added) - Hmm not sure about this question, water is self administered as plants use it; see Autopot.

E - Lighting source and distance from plant - 1000W HM about 3 feet from canopy

E - Air temperature (both day and night if you are running a dark period) - 80 ~ 85F during the day and around 70 ~ 75F at night

HD - Reservoir temperature - Needs a thermometer for that, sorry - warm

    E - Air % Relative humidity - 50 ~ 55% during the day 65 ~ 70% at night

    E - Lighting schedule - 18/6

E - Type of ventilation your room has - Vented light w/165 CFM fan and the room has i think a 480CFM fan with passive air intake room is 4' x 3' x 7'

TR - Did you pre-soak your media in pH corrected solution? - N/A?

So that's about it. Currently the plants are chillin' freshly flushed with a new batch of nutrients @ 1000/1100 PPM & a PH of .61. Still waiting to see if the pull through. Some may cringe at the fertilizer being so old. I think I'm going to head down to the hydro store today and get some fresh shit: Gen. Hydro FLORA SERIES ferts with the hard-water micro. I thin this may be a ā??generalā? fertilizer for me to start with as I have not had much time to research some good nutes.

Where I'm torn with this is weather I need to use cal-mag or some supplement in addition to my solution. I'm thinking I definitely don't need more calcium as there seems to be enough already, but isn't it recommended to use cal-mag if your base water is below 200~300 PPM as I know for sure you need to use if with RO.

BTW if you notice, there is some spider mite damage. This issue has already been addressed with a no pest strip. Thanks Opie! Great thread.

The biggest thing I see is it looks like the pots are too small. They maybe getting root bound which is going to cause nute problems.

    Thanks kw420,
I guess that could be a drag... Maybe I'll pull them out a little later and check. I'm not thinking they are root bound myself, but I suppose there is always a chance. I was going to wait another week to flower them. I'm just not sure about flowering with this one plant looking so sad. I suppose next time I should maybe keep them smaller to match the size of the pots and that would help, or see if autopot sells larger pots for this setup.

Anyway, I broke down yesterday and purchased an RO system, cal-mag and some Ionic nutes. As soon as I have enough water I'll set up a mixture. Do you have any recomendation on how long to wait after adding the nutes until one should PH balance the solution? I usually wait about a day, but if my current nutes are bad, it'd prolly be best to do it as soon as possible.

    Thanks again for your help,
