the image reaper Reviewed by the image reaper on . 18/6 or 24 hours? It seems that on more then one occasion I have read where someone uses 24 hours of light for vegetative growth. I currently use 18 hours with 6 rest, but why do I do that, if the next guy is growing 24 hours a day? Exactly what is it that occurs during the off cycle in the veg state? Why can one guy do 24 hours and the next guy feel the need to do something shorter? If I can get more growth by leaving the light on 6 more hours each day, then what's stopping me? Anything?
