Thanks guys for your suggestions. I know now a little more about ventilation and heat build-up, dissipation, etc.

Could anyone answer the second question ?

2) How close from the top of the plants can you lower an Adjust-A-Wings (wide setting) + Super-Spreader + 600 HPS light bulb ?

That will depend on your environment. With ideal temps and good air movement through the canopy, you can get as close as you dare. I've seen them <6" with no issues. Air movement is critical.
