I start a new position tomorrow. Three days ago I get my pre-employment package and found to my surprise that employment is subject to a screening. I was a very heavy smoker (half ounce a week) until a few days ago when I read that I would have to test, and I tried hydrating like crazy for the past day or two. I tried diluting through this manner for the day today, and when testing myself with a self test kit, I failed. I am in a bit of a panic, don't know when they will test, or how (i assume urine). I am not sure if I should go in to work prepared to test, (i have a cleanse capsule), or if I should wait to find out when I will be testing.

After the failure of the home test - I want to do everything right, but I have no experience with this. Do you think I will have some warning and a little time from the company? What is normal?

OMG - Trying hard not to freak out - but it is difficult -I left a steady job to take this one (big upgrade in employment) before I heard that they test adn now I am stuck.
