im personally running 8 42w cfls hanging above my plants. I did notice thou when i had my lights all around the plant insteed shinning from above is that the side growth was growing just as fast if not faster then the main growth point. Also in early growth i used LST method a bit to get more light to the inner parts of the plant. As for your yeild, something is better then nothing. Your plants didnt die, they flowered, they produced bud. They did what they were suppose to do. Mission accomplished!!!!!!

Finally smoked some of my stuff. Rolled up a nice blunt with my buds and friends. Havent been so high in a long time ! Had a very homey smell coming from it after it had been ground. Tastes like normal skunk although a lot smoother. Not bad considering the seeds where $25 for 5 fems ! Look out for my next grow in a week or two. Growing the Vanilla Kush with an LST technique. (Vanilla kush new to 2010) gheez !!

Do your seeds have good genetics?? I have about 20 plants started (bag seed & only keeping good ones) for almost 25 days and they dont look anything like that. Mine seem to be healthy. This is my first time with this type of plant but I have a good backround in growing other types of similar plants. I am using 4 fluro's in a tight area (2 grow & 2 cool white) a couple inches away. White walls around them. I have used miracle grow twice but am getting some 20-20-20 today. Why are mine not growing??

Ye they are F1's and feminised. Bag seeds are generally slower to grow and their germination rate is a lot lower than f1's. You shouldnt be gowing easy on that fertiliser otherwise you will give them nute burn or nute lock which will stop them from growing. You may need more than four fluros over 20 plants ! each plant needs a couple thousand lumens to its self to survive, so its either throw a few away or buy more bulbs ! Upload some pictures and people will be able to help you with your problems a lot better.
