Letseeya is it about time for an update ! have been very busy and plants havent been at the top of my agenda.

I have harvested 3 out of the five as they matured earlier than the other two which are still just a couple days away from harvest.

Bit dissapointed with the yield up to now, probably get between1.5 ounces to 2 ounces alltogether. Maybe thats ok for cfl's ?!

Low yield mainly because of the light penetration, cfls arent penetrating at all so all the lower buds didnt develop much, so next time i shall try that technique where you train your plants to grow on their sides, well bent over. Not sure what the name for the technique is though..anyone ?

frostedwonder, i could highly reccomend the cfl for vegging small plants. I have a 300 watt bulb cfl for that which works wonders although the 250watt flowering light doesn't really cut the bread. The bulb was around $65-70 or £35. I would definately stick with the hps and mh ! Also i have no idea when i have to change bulbs. I think they degrade slowly but my lamp is around 20,000 lumens.

next grows is going to be Vanilla kush and LSD. (done with the bend over technique to help light penetration!)

Man dont under estimate your grow. We grow and learn and thats all we can do. Your next go-round will be better and so on... So, id be proud of what ya got and take it into the next one. We started at the same time and i have at least a month to go. I did have problems, but if i can get an oz, il be thrilled.
But il bet you had a blast with your grow and that only gets you pumped up for the next grow, as it sounds like a good one. Just let me know my man, cuz il be tuned in:thumbsup:

haha nice to know i got your support bro ! I will also be very happy with an oz as three plants is weighing at 15g's! They were the smallest but still !! I havent checked out your grow for ages, will do that now.

Def look out for the next grow, vanilla kush only released this year so i will get some real nice pics up.

I did indeed. Not much but like you said as I do more grows and improve my techniques, my yield will increase.

Still havent smoked it yet. Will update in a couple of days and tell you guys what its saying.

Hey Charbud, looks like ya got some nice buds my man. I cant remember how many you grew, 4-5 i thought. But everyone that started around the same time i did is harvesting and i got a month or so:wtf: Had issues, but dang man, im just not an indoor guy i guess. Well i think the cold has slowed them, sitting on bare floor, fixed now but, i want buds:jointsmile:

Ye i think the cold slowed my growth but didnt affect them maturing. bit of a shame as they were packing on the weight before they were transported to my buds house !

From ebay. Would reccomend buying some smaller cfls for around the sides of the plants otherwise those buds wont grow that much.
