buds arent really growin that much recently. am i just being imaptient ? I have another bulb which i used to veg, would it be worth putting that on the side during the day ? I dont wake up before the light comes on and the door has to be closed during the night, would it turn them hermie if i added the light after i woke up ? and would they like the veg light anyway ?!

Charbud Reviewed by Charbud on 12-08-2009. WSS, first grow(cfl), come watch !! Hi, this is my first proper grow, hope u can all give me tips and advice etc, My first grow using a 300 watt cfl. Growing WSS skunk feminised from amsterdam. 4 out of the five have slight yellowing, gave them nitrogen and hasnt seemed to do anything ?!? Been feeding them tap water up to 13th day then i spotted the yellow leaves so have started weak soultion of multi purpose miracle grow. Mine seem to go in bursts, like I'll check 'em after 24 hours and it seems like the buds are way bigger, then they'll go 3-4 days without seemingly changing at all. If you put another light on them when your existing lights are on, I don't see a problem. Just don't put it on them while the plants think it's supposed to be dark. Whether it will do any good or not depends on what kind of light and how close you can get it. Are you feeding with a bloom fert of some kind?

The "crystals" are tricombs wich are not really crystals they are little opaque stalks with a liquid ball on the end of them, which is where most of your thc comes from. when they get milkey to amber is a good time to harvest. I would get at least a 16x hobby loop to look closer its fun and might make your mouth water cause it looks like little rain drops up close. as far as your light it looks as close as you can get it now good job man. I am in week 5 of my grow and made a couple of mistakes but adding more light during there light period will not hurt at all.:thumbsup:

senorx, completely agree with the growth spurts. Sometimes i come home and they just seem a lot bigger ! I still think they are a bit far behind compared to other flowering plants of the same time, has been about 23 days but i suppose im using cfls. Im using orchid bloom, although for orchids apparently it works for any blooming plant ?!

Tangent, can see the mushroom shaped trichomes when i look really closely and will get a light fixture for my other bulb soon as possible, sure it wont do anything abnormal because its a veg light and they are flowering ?

lol fair enough, i just flushed my plants cos i think they might have got nute lock because they really havent grown much recently, will go easy on the bloom in future ! will upload some more pics after the next bursts...if they come !:jointsmile:

I think you will be surprised. Mine just about doubled just before they were done and they look very healthy too:thumbsup:

The end result/yield is all in the bulb unfortunately. I would suggest a 250w to 400w next time around. MH for veg HPS for flower. I use both MH and HPS at the same time. 2 1000w lights on 12 plants. They are super bushy like your lower plants. You should look into LSTing your plants next time around.
