    Plant leaves yellow turning white

Was wondering if someone can help me with what may be causing the new leaves to come in light yellow and then turn white? I am growing in hydro, ph around 7.5, using big grow, big bloom and tiger bloom. 3-2-1, Any help is appreciated.

Your pH is WAYYYYYY too high for hydro, it should be around 5.5, or within a 5.2-5.9 range. You're probably locking out most of the nutrients, mainly nitrogen, running your pH that high. Lower the pH and see what happens. I am about 100% sure that is what your problem is.

I was thinkin all along mine was due to nute lockout from wrong pH, i also had-em too close to lights so leaves got crispy. Since this is my first im learnin every day. I'm usin all FF too but this is my first ever usin micronutes and was also thinkin i didnt give enuff, any help be appreciated, Thanx

Similar issue happened for me but it was along with sparse watering because a friend was babysitting my plant and it had just got pretty cold outside. Hard to narrow to the exact cause.

From what I can find online though this likely occurs due to Iron deficiency (interferes with plants ability to create chlorophyll). Hope this helps!

Couldn't edit since I quick replied, but for the reference a good source of iron for plants seems to be molasses. (And I'd guess blackstrap is better than otherwise, don't think sulphured or not matters.)

Did you get your ph down?

Fox Farms has pretty-much all the nutrients you need in the Grow Big and the Tiger bloom. The Big Bloom is a form of nutrient tea providing some slow-release nutrients. Perhaps a benefit for crappy potting mixes, but I'm likely not going to purchase it (Big Bloom) any more. Instead, I use Grandma's blackstrap molasses. (unsulphured)

Plants don't do well when overdosing on sulphur. At least in soil grow where it can build-up.

Molasses contains calcium and magnesium. (and iorn) Strangely enough...CalMag and CalMag Plus claims the same nutrients, but costs 10 times more.
