Odor Control (Need Help)
Hey everyone any help at all is appreciated. I Have three plants growing in a closet and the odor is getting very bad in the whole room that its growing in its beginning to spread to my hallway. Any solutions around or under $50 and there is no active ventilation so a Carbon Scrubber or DIY Carbon scrubber is useless for me. It's my first grow so i am really stuck for ideas or Experience here.

You dont need to vent a carbon scrubber! It would be much wiser to build one and get a cheap inline fan from homedepot. You can just sit the scrubber in the room and it will clean the air for you:thumbsup: no need to vent unless heat is an issue. When i stopped growing i put my scrubber and fan in my bedroom so i could smoke inside during the winter with the window closed, worked like a charm!

So you can just sit one in your room with nothing attached to it and it will clean your room i thought that you needed to push/pull air thorough it for it to clean the air? Did you mean attach the inline fan to the carbon scrubber i am not very sure how they work.

yeah the scrubber will attach to a a fan, best way is to pull the air through the scrubber and out the fan, so u mix the air up as it cleans.
scrubber - fan

I say its the best way becuase your forcing the air in the room to be cleaned, opposed to a gel or something that will work but only so much.
Theres a DIY on how to make a scrubber for like 20bucks, u can pick up active carbon at a aquarium store like petco, and the fan will be less then 20 for an inline 4" fan. Will sound be an issue?

Sound wont be an issue as long as its not louder than the average room fan.
