I'm starting my first hydro grow. I recently bought a 12 site ebb n grow type system with the 55 gal res. I have decided to use the sure to grow inserts as a grow medium. I have a 1000 watt nextgen ballast. With that being said the last descision I have to make is nutrients.I bought the organic buddha grow and bloom already then found out from the manufacturer they dont advise using it in a hydro situation. So here I am.I need to buy a nutient system that is synthetic and first time user friendly. What are your suggestions? I'm open to all and any. Please suggest a system you have already used that produced well with little to no problem.Simple if you will, for a first time idiot like myself.
Hope you can help.warlord98 Reviewed by warlord98 on . nutrients I'm starting my first hydro grow. I recently bought a 12 site ebb n grow type system with the 55 gal res. General hydroponics got a floranova super concentrated nutrient i guess its a one part formula but there is two bottles one floranova grow and one floranova bloom
Does it have to be super concentrated cause i use the General hydroponics 3 part and it works pretty good also simple but only for a base u would need to buy additives just one or two of some good shit like liquid karma to add to it for a little boost

GH 3-Part will work fine on its own till you get your legs under you after a few grows you might want to try an additive or 2 but not super neccesary. From the info I got from my hydro shop the Floranova is more geared toward soil and the original 3-part for Hydro, if in fact that is the concrete truth I dont know but is what I was told.

I used the GH 3 part system and works fine and is easy to use. I recently switched over to House and Garden and love it. They are the best I hear. Pricey but really great results:thumbsup:
