I topped all 13 of the plants tonight at the 4th node and i will be topping them once more in about two weeks to keep em short and stunted while the big girls are finishing up. There is only 13 now because one of them had a shitty root development so i made the decision to execute her without hesitation.

-Well the topping went great. All the plants were topped except for the 3 mystery plants, and they were not topped because they are going to be given away in a few days so i will let that grower perform his own techniques.
-I fucked up and let all 13 of the plants dry out for 3 days and they were looking bad when i first saw them last night, this led me to believe it was transplant time, and then i pulled one of the plants out of its cup and saw that it was root bound and ready for a 1 gallon pot.
-I transplanted all the plants yesterday into 1 gallons full of MG Moisture Control, and then watered with 1 Qt. of (wk.3)Nutrient water each.
-Within one day they all have come back and are looking amazing. I think the short drought might of gave them some extra horsepower?
-They are gonna spend a month in the 1 gallons until they are just a hair root bound, then it will be onto the 2 Gallons, followed by the 5 Gallon buckets until they finish.
-I am also Spraying these plants with SMC Leaf Wash every time i water.
-This product is keeping my leaves shiny and bug/dirt free..highly recommend it as a cheaper alternative to Neem oil and chemicals.

-Well its been a while since i posted for this log due to being so exhausted with two jobs, the plants are doing great and growing fast. The topping has payed off as the plants have slowed there vertical growth and are growing horizontally..
-They are just finishing week 4 of veg as seedling stage took 16 days..
-I have been foliar feeding them with SMC Leaf Wash every watering and this stuff does miracles.
-The neem oil is 40$ a bottle and im sure its effective. But this stuff works the same if not better and leaves no taste on the buds and can be used up until harvest..Oh and its only $3 a bottle.
-I watered with 1qt of water after transplant and the plants took a week to dry out..This was too long for me as i like them to go about 3/4 days and dry out..So i changed the watering amount to 1/2 Qt.
-I am giving the plants nutrients every other watering as the foxfarm feeding schedule states.
-I plan on giving these plants the full line of nutrients this grow once they start flowering..Beastie Bloomz, Cha Ching, and open sesame..

After giving away 5 of my plants to local legal MMJ Growers i currently have 8 vegging plants, well under my legal limit..
Plants Vegging: 4 Nirvana Bubbleicious, 3 Nirvana WonderWoman, and 1 Mystery (Possibly Afghooey)

everything is looking good BP! great actually. minus the stretch on that one plant. that is one of the mystery seeds.
i've only ever heard GREAT things about nirvana genetics. your grow seems to point to why.
keep up the good work. and i wasn't aware that you needed redemption!

Fingers crossed that the mystery bean is a sativa dom "she" with enough indica in her as to not make her to much of a pain in the ass as far as bending her to stay with the rest of the canopy goes...

Yea u got it right, the only mystery seed left in my garden..I hope its a female too bro. Im about 99% sure its a male due to its stretching and just being so damn thirsty..time will tell..thanks for stopping bye bro.

I am pretty happy with nirvana so far, there plants seem to compare well to the other seed banks for a much more reasonable price..As for the stretching i just topped the mystery last night so hopefully she will start growing horizontally now instead of vertically..Thanks again my friend.

I'd go with the 2 gallon transplant if you're not planning to flower within a week...The plants are topped and you'd just be loosing root space if you transplanted and continued veg in 5 gallon pots...Watch your height and don't think that you have to be root-locked when you transplant from 2's to 5 gallon pots...When you do go from 2's to 5's,water the day before...Roll the pot in your hands to loosin' roots clinging to the interior sides of the pot...Press on the bottom of the pot with the trunk in between two fingers of the other hand to gently release the rootball and place it into the 5 gallon pot which you should have already made a 2 gallon footprint in with a 2 gallon pot...The rootballs don't have to be completely covered(think BOG multi-tier)...Make sure you water the day before to keep that 2 gallon rootball together...GOOD LUCK FRIEND...

hey DT, about the BOG thing, i was thinking that using starter pots could work. you know the ones that are made out of cardboard pulp or what have you? they allow air to flow through them but would keep the light from the roots. and it would help keep the "tier" a bit more stable. not to mention be one (or several depending on how many you used) transplant. your thoughts?
