A friend of mine was getting the princely "take-home" sum of $61 a month for caring for her stroke victim brother who has AIDS. The state just cut her "take-home" wages to $41 per month! She does his laundry, makes sure he takes his meds, takes him to the doctor, shops with him and cleans up after him. He has "gone through" the rest of his family- none of them will have him- not even his kids! He suffers from dementia and talks to himself (I've heard him arguing with himself :wtf: ) and is a total slob (his mind is going, so it's not completely his fault). When she reaches the end of her rope (pretty soon now ), he will have to be put in a home at state expense- if room can be found for him. She deserves way more than $41 a month for all she does!

Expect to see more homeless madmen in California.
