Do you think this will be enough?
I am building a new aero system.
its a 10 plant aero system. utilizing 2 plastic fence posts. Sprayers are located 8" apart and the plants are 6" apart from one another. I don't wanna spend the money on 400+ GPH pumps all i can find are around $100 each. would 250 GPH pumps be enough to supply 12 spray heads? They are roughly $25 each. I need 7 of emm that is why i am wondering if there guys will work. 7 at $100 each is $700 and I dont wanna spend that on pumps. Just making sure these would work before I build the new systems.Pudish Reviewed by Pudish on . Do you think this will be enough? hydro farm makes a 800 gph pump for like $45. i use it to supply 18 drip sites.u really dont want to skimp on the pump.i would check em out there available pretty much everywere and there relatively cheap and verry effective. if u run 12 seperate lines its going to be harder to pump all those 1/4 lines to full capacity,i know that GH sells the laser line in 6 ft lengths. for verry cheap .and if u hooked up one of those to 2 laser spray lines u wouldnt have any problems.after all GH is the inventor of the square aero systems.

The only reason I asked about the pump was because of price. I am on a budget and anywhere around her that i live they want way to much for the systems that I want to use. So I wanted to down size the set up and use smaller pumps. I downsized from 14 spray head to i think it was 10. They suggested a 350 GPH pump. seeing as i downsized. I was wondering if the 250 would work. I need 7 pumps so that price tag get up there ya know.

right.well heres the deal. i suggested this one pump because of its price, having to buy 7 pumps will cost more than one pump. try looking on ebay and see what u come up with.the brand name is hydro farm. the other thing u really need to be worried about is the heat from 7 pumps in one rez.your nutrient solution will heat up verry fast and cause mucho root rot. sooo i say this to help u avoid a ton of problems and u will auctually be saving money.

Lowes sells a 8 head octopus attachment that will fit to most pumps. Use whatever pump you want but just use 1. Connect that 8 head gizmo, run some 1/4 tubing and attach your spray heads to that.

I just saw that but it had 10 1/4 inch lines come out. Almost got one. Stealth hydro uses it for drip that keeps the lines inside so no leaks.

if your going to use a drip manifold like the apollos u find at the home depot try and keep the distance from the rez to the plants as short as possible.also if u have some plants that are 20 ft away and some that are 2 ft from the rez/manifold its a really good idea to cut your tubing all the same length.if your pump is under powerd what ends up happening is your shortest runs spit out all the water and the ones furthest away may not get any water at all.ive been there and it sucks.the last month of flowering i couldnt even get into my room "my plants took over" so i pulled em alll out and fabbed up a drip system, well lets say i had 2 do it twice, about 6 hours later and a whole lot of swearing i finally figured out that it works the best with equal lengths.good luck
