I'm always careful with bongs that belong to other people, and if I ever broke one due to my own negligence, I'd feel obligated to pay for it...but that's just the kind of person I am. Obviously you're the type that would rather buy cigarettes, beer, and or pot instead of giving your buddy back the money because he doesn't have anything to smoke out of anymore.

Absolutely!,If I broke someones piece(luckily have never broken my glass)I would be at the door to the headshop and back in enough time with a replacement to keep the circle going. I'm always really careful with all glass pieces because I collect them.:bonghit::bonghit::bonghit::bonghit:

Just pay him and be more careful next time, or smoke from a cheaper piece. You don't need a $300 bong to smoke, and it won't get you any more high than a well made home-made bong.

Dude, you're tight.
If you both paid for it then he should have his half back or you should buy a new one, even a cheaper one.
Bottom line, you owe him!

Yeah man, if you broke it you gotta pay him for it.
Go out and buy a new pipe/bong that maybe costs a little less is you're broke. Either replace the bong or he'll replace you.

Absolutely not if not discussed beforehand. One has to assume that shit happens especially with an apparatus that it's primary purpose is get high.
