dont do it, plants should only recieve light from the top, that is where the clorophyl is for photosynthesis. also the leaves are more delicate and have larger pores on the bottom of them for circulation. You could damage these cells as they are not protected like the tops. Thats why plants grow leaf side up toward lights.
Also when the leaves on the bottom wilt and turn yellow(usually from lack of light)the plant will take the nutrients from the wilted leaves and feed other areas that need nutes.
