Well dont rush things, cuz iv learned that about a couple of weeks before its done the buds Will swell and you really dont want to miss out on the extra growth. Your best bet would be to keep an eye on the trichomes and let them get a bit rusty color. In less ya want that hard core couch lock type of a buzz, in which ya let the trichomes get very dark rusty color:thumbsup:

It would make sense to me because you live on the west coast that the light cycles would differ from here in the east side of the map. We harvest from late Sep. through late Oct. , so yeah i think Nov. would be logical. But the trichomes is your tell for true harvest time. I hope this helps man:thumbsup::rasta:

    Thank you much brother,

Now, I'm noticing that the longer I let them grow the more I'm finding that the tops of buds are drying and fall off to the touch. I know the prob are caterpillars as I pulled a top off this morning and there layed a little critter (which I pulled off by hand).

I've been finding them and pulling them by hand but do you reccomend anything else as I have to let them grow another couple weeks at least???

I would hate to keep losing buds to these invasive creatures.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Peace in Love

Man if your buds are dry and falling off, then your plant is dead man. Ok, if ya critter got a bud chewed off ok, but more then one is a big issue. There is no way your buds should be dry. You might want to check the bottom stalk and see it a rabbit chewed it off. Even if it were critters it would be not likely for them to make your buds fall off to the touch.

Sounds like your plant is not getting any water. Could be a broken branch at best. Iv never read about, or seen buds fall off to the touch in less it was dead and dried. I sure hope not, but id give er a good look over for broken branches/stem!:rasta:

had a caterpillar problem this season- yes the area will die and dry up- if you can get some BT bacillus something ,it will kill pest- i found that the caterpillars get so deep into bud that hand picking is the best way- look for their droppings this will lead you to the culprit before there is a lot of damage- after my caterpillar invasion it started raining for days and bud rot set into the areas that had been damaged by their chewing-if you are expecting any rain I would pre-treat with serinade to stop rot before it begins- best of luck
