I've had purple haze and sour desil. But on the other hand im on the north east coast and i was wondering what would be da best bud (seeds) to get? ( i was thinking something in the area of some type of kush but if anyone have suggestions be free to share them). Oh yeah what also has the best yields, taste, and high?

You need more description of what you want and are going to do.
Indicas will generally help you sleep more; you mentioned a kush variety? Kushes are often helpful in this regard; however, they also tend to produce less then many other choices.
Most people find the effects associated with Sativa's to be more heady and euphoric, often a good pairing for musicians and listeners alike. Sativas in the broadest sense tend to be larger and produce more; nonetheless, it really depends on you and your grow.
An important thing to consider are plants numbers and size; you can go with a few big trees or a bunch of small ones. Different varieties are better suited to different situations.

OG Kush, Purple Kush, Afghan Goo and Sour Diesel are solid choices. They all have a decent flavor when smoked. The Purple Kush has a slightly better flavor but is not quite as stony as the Afghan Goo or the OG Kush. The Sour Diesel is one of the strongest sativa based plants available the high is different but you don't have to think about it. If you can get Lambs Breath or Lambs Bread do so. It was Bob Marleys favorite for a reason.

The best strain I ever had was strawberry chronic. One hit and I was really high, one bowl and I was done. That was the first time in my life I'd ever had one bowl of something and couldn't smoke any more.

Now all things are cured I can say this years winner was the white widow. The bliss was a close second followed closely by dj short blueberry, afghan goo and purple derkle. Any of these strains is safe along with several mentioned above.
