Creating truly new strains and the End to laws against our substance.

The title may be a bit exagerated, but doesn't really need to be so.

Genetic alteration of plants is really very easy, I do it at least twice a week in the firm. My question to you out there is if you could add a gene to your cannabis what would it be? and why hasn't it been done already? This wouldn't be hard to do, given a couple weeks one could easily create hardier plants with any one of a hundred different characteristics to choose from, all just from current plants genome libraries available.
Imagine, inserting growth enhancing genes, as well as bt toxins. This would easily make a plant both much stronger, faster growing, and resistant to many pests.
For all I know, someone is out there doing this, I just haven't heard about it, so I wanted everyone to know its possible, and (relatively speaking) very easy.:smokin:

The second thing is news that almost everyone on here has already heard. The entire enzyme sequence in the creation of THC was discovered and mapped. That was the hard part.
That sequence can also be inserted into almost any other plant (a little more difficult, but doable) creating mint, tomatoes, etc. etc. etc. that can produce THC, and added with an expression enhancer can be made in even higher concentrations than the most sparkley of chronic.

If this gene sequence, or better yet, availability of the gene itself become available; marijuana may still be criminalized, but who could test every plant in your garden? Every piece of produce in your fridge and every spice in your cabinet?

The end is near, and I can't wait.:hippy:
