    HPS Light Question

    Hey, im just about to start my 1st indoor grow, and was wondering if you aboslutely need a ballast for a HPS light. Right now I have a fixture that is used for a spot light and was wondering if that would be ok to hold a HPS bulb. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
