    One plant, different flowering stages

    Hello all,

I messed up my balcony Haze this year not paying attention to a street lantern, keeping most of my plant in veg till half October. Then I moved her inside (temps outside dropped to 50F during the day) into a quickly made cabinet. No space for HPS so I put six 25 (real) W CFL's in there with color 827. I know it is not the perfect situation but then again, a backup plan never is.

So the issue I am having now is that 1/5 of the plant looks like almost finished, while the other 4/5 of the plant, has just started to flower. You can see the difference between the buds in the attached pics, and it comes especially clear what I mean, if you look at the main cola and that really nice side cola.

My question/issue is, what will happen with the buds that where already flowering for weeks while the rest of the buds grow? I can tell, although many hairs are brown on the older buds, still new flowers are developing on those buds but I wonder if this will continue to go on. This plant is a Haze and I don't know the exact strain so I guess she will have a flowering time of 14 weeks or so. But since 4/5 of the plants only started to develop flowers since a week (when I put her inside in the closet) and the 1/5 of buds started to develop about two months ago, total flowering time of those oldest buds will be about 24 week.

Sorry for the lengthy story and I hope it's clear what I mean, maybe it's best to flush the plant, then harvest the oldest buds and then start feeding again but I am not sure.

    Many thanks in advance,
    HC

without flushing and do a water cure (run a search) on the ripe buds. You will lose flavor, but have a very smooth smoke while you wait for the other buds to finish. If you flush, it will slow the growth of the ripening buds a bit.

That sounds like a plan Never thought about water curing them although I have read a number of threads about it in the past. This way I could supply nutrients to the plant and not worry about them ruining the almost ready buds

And (green) thumbs up for your very nice collection of links related to medical MJ in your signature. I spent the best part of last night reading through those
