Hey hey,

Been a while since I've been around, hope everyone is doing well... 'specially all the mods and regulars.

So, yeah, getting right down to it, I'll probably soon be looking at the first UA I've had to deal with in several years. Not happy about it whatsoever, but this lousy economy has pretty much screwed me out of self-employment, forcing me to consider taking a gig as a slave in a corporate office. My wife is also pregnant again, so I just can't afford to dick around anymore with contract work and all the haggling that goes with it... at least not until the economy picks back up and contracts aren't such a pain to secure. A UA is pretty much guaranteed for this new job, at least for pre-employment, so I'm looking for some advice from old buddies, mods, and anyone else who knows what they're talking about.

First of all, it has been one month since I've consumed anything. I've never really been a "heavy" user, but I before I quit I'd been a pretty damn "consistent" user, smoking about a gram or so of really good homegrown headies everyday for more years than I can remember. I'm 6'3", 225'ish pounds, and was working out pretty regularly up until a month ago. Kinda fell off that wagon when my wife got pregnant for whatever reason, but I'd say my metabolism is above average.

Coming up on my second interview next Wednesday, which will make it about 40 days since I last used. Funny thing is, there might be yet another interview after that, because the company won't officially do any hiring until after the holidays. But, just to be on the safe side, I'm treating it as if I'll be tested next Wednesday. If not, then I have no worries (just sobriety-induced frustration), but if so, should I dilute... or should 40 days be enough of a safety net? I've heard too many stories of folks drinking too much and having to retest... and I don't even want to risk looking suspicious, but if due to my size it would be recommended, then I'll do whatever is necessary. Haven't taken any of the home tests yet, but I will be grabbing a few of those next time I'm near a pharmacy.

As always, any advice is appreciated. I'd love to hear from all my old buddies, if for nothing else than to just say "hello."

Be good, y'all...
