I'd never vaped before but 40+ yrs smoking have left me with very little lung left and taking medicine shouldn't make you sicker, no matter what hospitals do.

First problem; they recommended I vape at 300F, too low for full effect - very little vapor produced - so I felt like I wasn't even getting high, wasting good bud, with almost no pain effect.

After looking around here and fuckcombustion.com I've been using it at about 354F indicated, getting fairly good vapor with really big draws (after all those years of smoking my capacity is huge, I just can't use much of it.) I ended up at 354 because above that is where I start to taste plant.

I think the digital indicator is mostly marketing - you don't know what temp the element actually is, the knob doesn't seem calibrated in its effect, it's still guesswork. In addition, it has sometimes run away - climbed endlessly. Turning off and waiting for a couple of hours works but ain't no good when you need now! I wouldn't pay extra for this.:S4:

I've learned to use it, but it was a large learning curve, and I've tried a friend's SSV - it delivers much bigger hits. Have also tried a volcano at a local dispensary - gentler hit, similar to the one I have but way more consistent in vapor produced.

I'll be upgrading. Just haven't decided to what yet.
