First mistake was that we were too trusting. Patient says he needs a caregiver. Goes through the motions of signing change of caregiver to us (but not actually mailing as far as we know). We meet and provide him with free med samples, including free 1/2 oz as an act of faith for allowing us to be his caregiver. Never hear from him again despite repeated phone calls and e-mail attempts. Not sure what happened or if he has done this before...?

If a patient is not happy with their caregiver, for whatever reason, they should be considerate enough to let them know. Maybe something can be worked out.

Apparently some patients feel like they should get their meds for free and will unscrupulously take advantage to justify their cause no matter how misguided...?

Our thinking is, if a patient wants their meds for free, grow it yourself if you are able. We will even help you start your grow. We are not totally altruistic, but can make allowances (occasional free meds) for those who are financially challenged....just let us know in the beginning.
