Facts about this pic: a hot water heater is on the left side of the space, this spot is in the garage that is exposed to the attic since there is no drywall ceiling in there and finally on the right side of the space as well as to the back is my home. How should I run the ventilation system?
I have drawn up a crappy picture of how my setup works (see below)....and it works with just one fan. In the pic you can see that air comes in from the attic (the duct goes nearly to the floor as cool air is denser and falls anyway). It then circulates in the grow area (as I have a desk fan stirring the air around in the cupboard). And then the air is sucked through the open end of the air cooled light fitting out into the attic again by a 4" vent fan (which is in the attic), thus ventilating the grow area AND cooling the light. A carbon filter can be added to the other side of the vent fan but I haven't bothered as I like a 'stinkyattic' . This setup is working great! :thumbsup: So save money and electricity with just 1 fan. Not sure how you can do the ducting from your description though.

I like the bit asking why would a salesman want to sell you more stuff...

600w will give plenty of light for that area (Approx 6.7 square foot) and remember 'big light = big buds' if utilised correctly.

I was thinking those Mylar tents I see on ebay would work fine or even a grow box of some sort. I'm just not sure what size tent to get because I will be attaching aluminum ducting to the tent or box. There will be exhaust fans and electrical cords also attached to the tent/box. I will be putting doors on this space so the tent/box will be hidden behind the doors. What do I think I should do with this spot? What size tent Rating: 5
