    Privacy for cardholders??

    Hi,
I think I'm going to finally go get my card and get legal and I have a question or two. I'm going to most likely get my card through a doctor referral at a dispensary, OR one of these clinics that focuses on MJ referrals and is not associated with a dispensary (although it's a bit more expensive, maybe $80-100). I don't have a primary care doc any way, but therein lies my question...
When I go to get a primary doc here eventually, will he know that I'm a MMJ patient? Will my insurance company find out? I know that my information will be on file at the clinic/dispensary where I get my referral, but will that information go anywhere else (besides the state)? I guess I don't know how medical records are kept and I don't think there's really a universal method to compile them yet. So, I basically want to know if future doctors that I see and my insurance company will find out that I'm a licensed MMJ patient? I guess this won't be as big of an issue if healthcare reform gets passed.

Any help/advice on this would be much appreciated! Peace,
