Whether you like it or not, agree with it or not, abortion is something socienty requires, that why even when it was illeagal here in the UK it still happend (spend a few $s and go see Vera Drake). The real difference between it being and not being legal is this:

Abortion legal = foetus is terminated
Abortion illeagal = foetus and perfectly healthy woman terminated.

Making it illeagal forces it underground meaning you'll get some nasty bastard exploiting women and causnig all manner of health problems likely ening up with a woman being killed unnecessarily, if not contracting some terrible form of blood poisoning.

And you the women that opt for it - they're not stupid you know, they are aware that it really is the last viable option.

And whats Terri got to do with this? 2 seperate debates mate, so keep them that way.

Yeah, what abortion really is is not a pleasant thing, and at 22 weeks (the max limit) thats more than just a bundle of cells, but then, WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK IT WAS??!?!?!

Right or wrong its necessary, and if you think the world can cope with having it stopped just liek that, I'd suggest you spend less time in church and more time looking around the world at whats going on.
