    abortion

I think abortion should be 100 percent abolished. I mean it, no more. In Terri's case I view it like this, she is unrecoverable, so let her go. But a fetus has nothing to recover from! With a rape victim I see it like this. What have our parents always said? Two wrongs don't make a right.
So go through labor, buy two new maternal outfits and give the baby up for adoption if you can't care for it. Adoption is good enough, and hopefully you'll become atached and not want to give it up.
    peace and love

abortion is illegal after a certain point, after the fetus can live independantly outside the womb or whatever other standards medical doctors use.

you cant tell me that something the size of a pea should be afforded the same rights as a fully develeoped human, if you do lets ban masturbation, millions of little people needlessly dying, what a shame.

Yay! So lets tell a girl who has gone through a horrible traumatic experience that she has to keep that baby that she never wanted just because that fetus' life is more valuable than hers.

You or I have no say in what a woman does with her body, you couldn't possibly understand what a women has to go through. Tell you what, go home and squeeze a football out of your urethra, then you might understand.

    Add on to Stedric's point....

12 year old girl gets raped...becomes pregnant you force her to have the baby thats "half" of a man she fears and despises .Naw...that won't create severe psychological trauma.

Hell lets take the vote away from those "ornery women" we can't let them go around doing what they want with their own bodies. Damn the medical consequences and the psychological ones! We'll just force em!

Oh but wait it was illegal at one point and what did that do? Just ended up driving it underground (much like drugs and any other criminal activity that isnt murder or rape which will always be underground). So both the mother and the child can die from no inspections of medical facilities and quality of care! Yeah thats a damn good idea (for anyone who's slow that was sarcasm)

If you want to protest abortion in any fashion you have to commit yourself to adopting no less than 2 minority/crack addicted/AIDS ridden/retarded/FAS afflicted little miracle. If you do that, I won't agree with the point of view, but I might give it an ounce of respect. The hypocrisy of 90% of abortion protesters boggles the mind.

Sorry I think anytime the members of the anti-choice movement are even mentioned I cannot resist the urge to over react a tad. I do this because I think it's the only way to fight the batshit nonsense of the whole movement. Alot of them are like suicide bombers with their zeal. Fight fire with fire.

I know this seems a bit off topic, but the same really over zealous protesters with this Schivo shit are the exact ones eating jelly doughnuts occasionally standing up to hassle lower socio-economic women at the abortion clinics. The middle class and above women get to go to private places where they don't have to deal with it. It's batshit people who think they have the right to inflict there own beliefs on everyone else's private affairs. I'm sure if you asked any wacko wasting time in front of the hospice in Fla. what there other hobby is the answer, without fail, would be saving the miracles that are future babies.

People always play the adoption card, but a large majority of those people cant or will not adopt anyways. It takes people to raise these kids. They dont just disappear after they are born.

It says in the bible that if a woman is beaten by a man and she is pregnant and her child is killed but not her, that the man has to pay 40 gold pieces (or some other bullshit amount) to the woman's father. Not that I think the Bible should ever be used as a basis of opinion, but the Right Wing nutbars so often think they are doing God's work.

I think I could do that for 8 hours of my 657,000 hours that an average human lives. If you need proof come to my place and you can shove that football up and pull it down yourself.
